I've been designing information architectures, taxonomies and search strategies in Corporate enivironments across different industries, for about 9 years. I'm a chartered Information Scientist and I work for Unisys. I'm a member of the Society of Knowledge Base Publishers and the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CLIP) too.
I really believe in driving design from the user's perspective, and am surprised how often that is described as an innovative approach instead of the only approach!
