Celeste Lyn Paul is a senior interaction architect at User-Centered Design, Inc. and an Open Source usability specialist for projects such as KDE and Kubuntu. Ms. Paul specializes in interaction and information design for government, research, and health information. She has experience in all phases of the product development life cycle from requirements gathering through implementation and testing, with a knack for helping the development and user research teams work together.
Her recent research efforts include the design and validation of the Modified-Delphi card sorting method — a new information architecture card sorting method which has the potential to reduce the cost of conducting a study and increase the quality of results gathered.
She holds a Master’s degree in Interaction Design and Information Architecture from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia from Duquesne University. She is also a member of the American Society for Information Science & Technology, Association for Computing Machinery, Information Architecture Institute, K Desktop Environment e.V., OpenUsability e.V., and Usability Professionals Association.
