Alexander here. I'm a user researcher, currently working on site like MSN Health, Autos and Lifestyles. I also teach usability testing at the University of Washington.
I specialize in understanding what makes our target audience tick - creatively using qual and quant methods to get a really rich picture of how people are doing with our sites.
My PhD is in psychology - looking at Buddhist principles of perception and how they can be applied to psychotherapy.
I did my MSc thesis on usability for online music learning, under the supervision of the brilliant Dr Catriona Macauley at Napier University, Scotland.
