Terry works at IBM in the Software Group as Lead Architect for User Experience for the IBM WebSphere brand. He joined IBM in 1996 and spent two years working on DB2 in Silicon Valley before transferring to North Carolina so he could afford more than a cardboard box to live in. His increasingly irrelevant education happened at Indiana University (undergrad) and the University of California at Santa Cruz (grad).
Terry's professional interests include inherent complexity, user generated content, user research, and technological deep dives.
When he's not working, his interests include video games, reading pulp fiction, blogging, playing with his kids, college basketball, and writing bios about himself in the third person.
