I am an Information Architect / Web Business Analyst with extensive expertise in developing data driven web portal and applications. Focusing primarily on design, business analysis, organization taxonomies, functionality and behavioral processes. I have developed systems for financial, accounting, non-profit and e-commerce markets.
I have degrees in I/O Psychology and Sociology focusing in Symbolic Interactions. I started out my web career as the lead web designer for the Anti-Defamation League where I redesigned and brought the e-commerce aspects to their website.
At the peak of the dotcom era in the late 1990s, I joined a company called WACA/Here2fix. At Waca/Here2fix, I was hired as an Information Architect / Lead Web designer. I worked with the marketing and development division to develop UX Miss Point-of-Sale application for companies like Buy.com, Tigerdirect.com, Compaq, Staples, and Officedepot.
I brought my experiences as an Information Architect / Lead Web designer to KPMG when I joined the company in early 2000. At KPMG, I worked with clients to developed Websites and Web Portal Application to create web application to automate Tax and Financial processes. Within the four years I worked at KPMG, I worked with companies in a variety of markets, from investment banks to automotive. I utilized and combined my Business Analysis, Information Architecture, Requirement Gathering, and Project Management abilities to produce the best results for my clients. With my experiences, I honed my skills to become Sr. Level Information Architect / Web Business Analyst.
Currently I am the Manager of Internet Optimization and Site Design at American Express. Developing new processes and standards for website optimization and design usability for both the US and International markets. I am also charged with aligning Internal divisions and 3rd party vendors to meet the needs and goals of the firm and to increase the user experience for the both the card member and the service providers at American Express.
