Niya Sisk MFA brings over a decade of experience to UX Design.
Her career began as an infomercial co-producer for Apple Creative Services, Powerbook Europe Campaign, and then the lead visual interface designer for Macromedia's (now Apples) award-winning Final Cut Pro.
Sisk focus's on visual meaning and cues in user experience design. Her articles on color and semiotics underscore the importance of effective symbol and language cues, and have appeared in Communication Arts Magazine. In addition to her design work, she has lectured at Universal Studios, chaired the interface panel for KQED, and taught User Experience Design at San Francisco State and Portland State.
Niya is currently working with Microsoft's Mediaroom Department as a product designer for their exciting entertainment solution partners.
