Lisa Dawn Colvin is an ontology modeler for TopQuadrant. She is currently developing naming and metadata standards for the NASA Constellation Program Data Architecture.
She began developing ontologies in 1995 as a computational linguist and ontologist for Cycorp, the creators of Cyc. In addition, she managed the Ontology Builder tool at VerticalNet, and worked on search and information management at Yahoo! and Genentech.
She is interested in developing cross-pollination of conceptual modeling methodologies across disciplines.
In her spare time, she enjoys making short films, robot music and rowing.
