My name is Ji Kim. I have over 10 years industry experience in interaction design, user research, and product management for enterprise and consumer software. In the past, I have worked for a well known interactive design agency, successful startups, and large software companies. And, when time permits, I enjoy giving talks at various design conferences and events.
I’m also the contributing author for the book: Effective Prototyping for Software Makers, and active volunteer for BayCHI (Special Interest group on Human-Computer Interaction).
Some of my other professional interests include: industrial design, anthropology, recommendation technology, social networking, video and audio information retrieval,and story telling.
I studied computer science and business technology management. In addition, I have completed post-graduate and professional training in psychology, programming, design, and management.
Outside of work, I enjoy: surfing, snowboarding, checking out bands and independent films, collecting vintage motorscooters, rating restaurants, and photography.
