Larry Constantine, IDSA, ACM Distinguished Engineer, is an industrial designer and design methodologist working in the area of interaction design, particularly for interaction critical applications (medical, industrial automation, power systems,...). He is Chief Scientist with Constantine & Lockwood Ltd, the international consulting and training firm he cofounded and Director of LabUSE, the Laboratory for Usage-centered Software Engineering, University of Madeira, Funchal, Portugal. He has published widely (150+ papers, 17 books) and holds multiple HMI patents.
