I have been involved with Quality management in the automotive industry for more than 25 years and I came to IA through producing online Quality and Environmental manuals for automotive component supply companies.
I have developed and expanded the concept of the online manual to include relevant internal and external information required to (hopefully) maintain and increase the organisation's effectiveness. I have realised that the effectiveness of the system relies on how the information is formatted, linked and structured. I am looking forward to learning much more about IA and developing the concept further.
I am at present developing an enterprise information system for a large, complex local government department and having lots of fun.
