After finishing a Ph.D. on Shakespeare in 2005 and publishing a book the same year on Radiohead, I made the full-time transition in 2006 from university-level teaching of literature (Ancient to Postmodern) and composition (expository, research and business writing) to web design and development. I work for the University of Washington's Network Management Tools Team designing and developing websites and application interfaces. I'm also a member of the Information Architecture Institute and the Interaction Design Association.
