I haven&#8217;t done any researches as it is not my expertise but I am convinced that scrolling has been so widely adopted by users that it has had an impact on the mouse. Microsoft has added a scrolling wheel and Apple has added a scrolling ball to the mouse in order to make scrolling easier.
