Would you focus on PDF only or other alternative tools to make prototypes – i.e. Powerpoint. I think this is an interesting idea and it would benefit from some live examples as part of the story.

I think this could be a very interesting set of articles – perhaps looking at the different phases of opening your own business or from the perspective of how to fund, how and when/if to hire others, partner or not etc. I think CW’s talk at the IA Summit would be good to riff off of as well in terms of clearing the air about truth and lies and half truths and myths of being an entrepreneur.

Milissa – I think this would be widely read and utilized. Data that you have to share as well as seeking out info from other people in different contexts will be important as well. Designers and advertisers can use this for re-valueing the lower portions of our webpages. Does your info take into consideration differences in montor sizes and what that means for the fold – since it is a moving target?

This would be an interesting article, but how will this be different than the work that Danah Boyd has spoken about or published. Her specialty is youth and social networking. If this builds on her work and Amy Jo Kim’s work then this is a definite must publish, if its a rehash then I suggest look for a synthesis or new angle to add to the knowledge base.

Nicely done – and made more powerful by the data you share – which is great that you are doing that as well. So much of what we do we quantify within our own walls but rarely do we share outward. Excellent!

We still use Drupal for our internal Pattern Library. This has been constant for the last 3 + years. We never used Drupal for the Public Pattern Library – which was built with JSON and XML by Bill Scott and sits on our Yahoo! Developer Network site.

We are constantly adding related pattern sites to the Designing Social Interfaces wiki – which is the companion wiki to the book I am writing with Christian. Additionally Bill Scott has a list on his Designing Web Interfaces site.
