we are actually having this wiki discussion at my work place these days, it is not easy, but there is one thing I wonder about: how do you go back to learn from mistakes after product is delivered, if there is no documentation of the process, decision making etc?? Are you working in small companies where employees are stable and knowledge therefore easy to keep in house?

I also think this is a good list of things we have to communicate to our clients/ project managers…

You call your article “Research Logistics. A Crash Course for Designers and Stakeholders”
I would like to point that many designers today get research competance at school, if not all? Do you have experience with designers who are not well known with the things you highlight?

congratulations with great article.
I will start training at work as soon as I get back to the office on monday, but I will not use this on the personal arena, there I think the best is to be yourself!
It is irritating when people is using different communication techniques in the private area and you find out (lots of people taking these kind of courses today), then you really wonder if you are getting to know the person or being examined…
