Oh man, this is so important. It’s important to us, but also to the rest of the world (the New York Times has covered it). Tech companies are inventing new gizmos faster than people can understand what they are, and we can help.

Having a great piece on this from Sarah would be good for B&A.

I think the page basically has to make it obvious there is stuff below the fold. Sometimes boxes will end at the edge of the screen and it doesn’t look like there’s anything else down there. Long, vertical elements that deliberately extend below the edge definitely help.

It’d be great to give people the language to communicate about prototypes. Even simple stuff like differentiating between a “looks-like” and “works-like” prototype can go a long way.

Thank you for such a review that goes beyond the book’s content to put the topic in context. I hope to see more reviews like this that strive to become educational vehicles themselves and not just product reports.
