      <description>&lt;p&gt;Hmm..this sounds like quite the challenge.  The basis for &lt;span class="caps"&gt;CYOA&lt;/span&gt; stories is that you&amp;#8217;ve already anticipated what the user has in terms of certain points where they need to make a decision.  How do you determine where they make decisions?  And then the story itself &amp;#8211; do they all branch off into their own nodes or do they come together?&lt;br /&gt;..some things to think about.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

	&lt;p&gt;We&amp;#8217;re in the process of adding people to our 1-person team &amp;#8211; isn&amp;#8217;t that normally the case? =]&lt;br /&gt;Another resource we&amp;#8217;ve touched on is Eric Schaffer&amp;#8217;s book on institutionalizing Usability.  (HFI)&lt;br /&gt;At one point in time, I asked Jakob Neilsen the important question of one person doing programming and usability.  He replied back saying:&lt;br /&gt;&amp;#8221;...certainly a half-time focus on the [UCD] discipline is not good for career growth..&amp;#8221;&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;Learning from other resources, for instance, the book &amp;#8220;Good to Great&amp;#8221; and Dan Sullivan&amp;#8217;s &amp;#8220;Unique Ability&amp;#8221;, more success is had when a person/entity concentrates on doing one thing, and one thing really well.  This doesn&amp;#8217;t mean to get a &amp;#8220;specialist&amp;#8221; per se, but more someone who can do it all and chooses to concentrate to do something they love to while having understanding of the other facets of UX development.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

This compliments Jared Spool&amp;#8217;s article on how Personas are like vacations &amp;#8211; you can&amp;#8217;t really write about them, you have to experience them.  So essentially, the process of &amp;#8220;Modeling&amp;#8221; after particular key users is extremely beneficial in understanding the product&amp;#8217;s users.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
