Interesting idea! If you dig further into this topic, consulting some of the (extensive) writing on the topic of “boundary objects” could prove valuable. There’s a lot of dry academic content on that subject, but among the scholarly pedantry are some very interesting concepts, observations, and examples. As a reference point, the canonical article on the topic is:
