Ego in the Enterprise

Working in the area of software design, it’s probably not a surprise to hear that I spend a lot of time in front of my computer. It seems whether it is a work day or not, I am within the cornucopia of transactions that make up an online existence. The combined result of all this time spent is an online identity. I like to think of my online identity as an extension of my ego. And it is this type of digital ego that I see as an emerging factor in next generation enterprise applications.
