It would be a good idea to also include something about structuring the pages semantically right, ie usinhg h-tags for headings and ul/li for lists etc.

I’m thinking this is all old hat – thought it would be nice to have it in an article format for those who are not familiar, but really, the meat of the problem these days is beyond the page. I’d like to see that type of discussion/guidance on SEO when you are not dealing with easy to manage things like HTML pages. Point 5 above is a really innapropriate advice since more and more the industry is making use of more dynamic methods and is getting positive results out that.

I am aware of the level of your audience. The article I mentioned was just basic information that I intend to take as a starting point.

And where did you want to go with it? What would be the final benefit statement to the reader? What is the real world application. It would be great to specifically address point 5. This would help companies struggling with handling SEO on their dynamic sites.
