Article Idea:
Webwork
suggested by Chris Glasier on 2007/09/23
It seems to me that IT can only really expand into society if there is a different approach. My idea is:
Webwork takes over from digitised paperwork (office suites). Webwork requires structured (object-oriented) information. Web languages and structured information turn websites into machines. Office workers carry out their work on personal websites. Other websites join up personal sites into departments, companies etc.

Maybe what I wrote comes across as a bland statement, but really I am trying to draw some comments on the feasibility of using selection rather than input as the basis of work processes – challenging office suites and other digitised paperwork software. I believe this approach also has significant implications on methods of searching, funding, advertising and expansion of IT with specific digital devices.

I think your idea is not yet formed enough for people to react to it… can you say more?
